What happens after the end of the 30-day trial period? Does my access automatically turn into a subscription?

No! Your test access will not automatically become a subscription and you do not need to cancel your test account if you no longer wish to use Polylino. After the trial period has expired, your access will be automatically blocked. You can no longer log into Polylino.
